Neti pot with saline/baking soda water is an ancient remedy. Xylitol added works well too.

There is a nasal spray, xlear, that is nothing but saline water, xylitol and grapefruit seed extract (for a preservative). You can get this at many drug stores.

For me the added xylitol makes a big difference.
