In case you can't tell, I've taken a little break from my walking routine since returning from my vacation. It was a busy week with company coming to visit at the same time we were getting my youngest back off to college. With all the walking and hiking over the summer I've had some corns and calluses form and they started to get irritating. We've also had either very hot or rainy weather. So although it was not really planned, this turned into the first week in more than 2 years where I didn't get any walking done other than normal life activity. Weird.

Anyway, time moves on. The sore feet are feeling better. The weather has cooled down and dried up. I'm settling into my normal daily routine again. The break is over. I'll be back to getting my 10K in each day very soon.
