I fell off the rails by going to Thanksgiving with the family, followed by Christmas....... Been off the rails since. My answer in the past has been " dont go" and that worked to keep me LC. Not like my "family" calls me at other times of the year....so why go...?

My frustrations have escalated over the years as the youngsters in the family embrace alternative diets, so Grammy caters to their wishes. HEY I was in the family before them... but apparently a DIL is not as good as grandchildren. Even after nearly 20 years LC, getting LC food is only what we bring, and a ham slathered in sweet spices is the main event.

Im happier staying home.
