I was diagnosed several years ago and I knew I would not be able to tolerate the machine. (Many reasons. Just take my word for it. )

My soft palate is totally collapsed when I'm on my back, awake or asleep.

I have a bit in my mouth and 3 tennis balls in a pocket on the back of a sleep shirt to encourage me to stay on my side(s). Now that I'm at normal weight and always in ketosis, I'm certain that my apnea isn't about sugar.
