Welcome back, Miche
Please don't wing it! Read the advice about meds in the Warning sticky above ^^^. (You have posted there before but the thread has since been made a sticky) Ideally you would have a doctor help you reduce meds, but to avoid lows, most LC docs reduce the meds even before patient starts LC. Quote from DietDoctor article in that thread: "As a general guide you may need to lower your doses by 30-50% or more when starting a strict low-carb diet." I know patients where it was a 50% reduction in advance of a 20g carb diet.

IF is definitely easier if you fast after being VLC/Ketogenic and well "fat-adapted", but Dr Fung uses long fasts with patients who have been eating HC diets. If you stay Ketogenic, the first 24 hours is a snap since so many who do Keto can eat one meal day no problem anyway. Day 2 and 3 is harder but I believe less difficult than if you were still a sugar-burner. You could start on a less strict LCHF, then move to Keto (less than 20g and moderate protein) but starting at 20 g isn't that hard either. But adjust your meds and monitor your BG!
