I think the concept is the same as the original South Beach, but adding in weight training and cardio to increase initial weight loss. I need a kick in the butt! I have been losing and gaining the same 10 or 20 pounds over and over and over.....

I think it's great that you're choosing to exercise while you lose weight. Just don't go crazy with it and go slow. Find something that you'll stick with as consistency over long periods of time will get you where you want to go...and that goes for your food intake also. Starting and stopping over and over again .... not so much.
