I'm older than most of you and I've had fibro since 1979 when I was 39. Back then they didn't have a diagnosis for me and finally, in 1983 or 84 a doctor diagnosed me. The medicine I took over the years that worked were arthritis medicine. My gut can't tolerate them anymore.
The main that's done the most good over the years is exercise--swimming laps, water exercise, stationery bike and recumbent bike. Also have your thyroid and your parathyroids. They can both mimic fibo and a diseased parathyroid can cause bone pain and a whole bunch of other symptoms. Some of them are similar to PMS problems. I wish you well.
