Yesterday I tried my first half marathon distance run. It took a long time, but I made it in time. So that was a relief! At races, my brain tends to send me waves of negative messages, so it helps to be able to tell my brain that I've done this before, and everything is going to be OK.
I had a little knee pain after my long run, so I'm going to work on strengthening the leg muscles that I don't use as much. I'm a little confused about which ones they are, so it's time for some education for me.
