It's that sugar in the name like green beans, only 6g carbs per cup and 2 of those are fiber. If you want a program to prevent hunger while Reducing binging, the rules to this one are strict enough (no nuts, no alcohol, and limits on cheese and dairy...it removes all trigger foods) yet gives you as much food from a long list as you want to eat. Butter on those snap peas and olive oil on a salad help. To start, eat three meals and snacks until you can can recognize "real hunger" and then eat only when hungry, stop when full.
