I can't figure out if this is real or if they're just trying to placate people with the usual "fruit is good for you" routine.

This is something I remember hearing about a good 30 years ago. The person who told me couldn't remember what the difference was, only that somehow juicing the fruit changed something, and that she would no longer drink juice, but insisted that whole fruit was really good for you.



My guess is that it had something to do with fiber - all that good-for-you FIBER in whole fruit!
