You can put them in the fridge and they ripen much slower. That's what I do nowadays. Leave them out until they just start to soften and then pop them in the fridge. They can last days longer that way.

Eating first avocado now. Hmmm... Just realized I only have 5 more. Not sure that will last 2 days. Maybe Trader Joe's will have some ripe ones.
