Thought I'd share this 'mind the gap' story...

A few years back I was grocery shopping. My toddler was in the buggy facing me. I get up to the check out and as I placed two honeydew melons on the belt they rolled and rolled on past the cashier.
I exclaim, "Oh, my melons are escaping!" I thought it was mildly funny, but neither the cashier or the bag boy said a word but exchanged a funny look.
I push my cart on out of the store and my little girl looks up at me sweetly and says....





"mommy, your shirts undone"



Yes, indeed... my melons WERE escaping.
