"In June last year the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that children on vegan diets were, on average, 1.2 inches shorter and had up to 6% lower bone mineral content than meat-eating peers."

No need for any other arguments when considering this statement, and if parents know this and still embrace a vegan lifestyle for their children, it's tantamount to child abuse. What's worse is the additional health problems that emerge when these children become adults after continuing to eat vegan. Denise Minger is one who knows the consequences. Alarmingly, there are those moving forward with the philosophy that we and the planet would all be so much healthier by adopting a plant-based approach. It won't put any dent in the worldwide plague of T2D, the associated metabolic syndrome health symptoms, and the massive, and the overwhelming, uncontrolled costs of healthcare that ride along with it.
