Just have to add - I've *decided* that I'm going to get some of those new-ish ballet flats. Can women who are in their 30's wear the new ballet flats?

So what colour(s)? And is it ok to wear them with my dark wash jeans and some of my dress pants?

Meanwhile - I get the feeling that if I really want to amp up the style quotient, that I'd be out there buying 'pointy-toe' shoes. Again, what are these exactly? Heels with pointy toes? Or are there flats that are the new, ultra- stylish 'pointy toe' version?
