I'm late 20's (so pretty much close enough) and I'm currently in love with square toed ballet flats - ones that actually look like ballet pointe slippers YUM! I personally hate pointy toed shoes, heels or flats.
I have them in zebra print, leopard print, gold, silver, black and pink.. and I match them with black wide leg tailored pants for work or dark wash boyfriend cut (sort of bootcut but a bit slouchier but still fitted) jeans for socialising. Keep the top fairly neutral (I pretty much only wear black tops so I'm not the person to give colour advice), with an interesting neckline, earrings which semi match whichever pair of shoes I'm wearing and one of my squillions of black handbags
