In Protein Power Lifeplan the Eades suggest you take magnesium, Vitamine E and coQ10. Magnesium is something most of us are deficient in, which can cause all kinds of problems. Magnesium will help you to process and use potassium and calcium; it also plays a role in over 300 bio chemical reactions w/in the body. RDA is 400- 500 mg day, and it's best to take a chelated variety as it is more easily apsrobed.

Vitamine E is a powerful anti oxidant. It acts as a free radical scavenger to prevent the byproducts of chemical-cell interaction that cause cell damage. Free radicals are likely responsible for all or most of the degenerative diseases e.g. arthritis, heart disease, cancer, senility etc. The absorption or scavenging of free radicals protects our cells from this type of injury. The Eades recommend 400 mg vitamine E that is made from mixed tocopherols and tocotrienols.

Coenzyme Q-10 is an important part of the "anti-oxidant network", it is a naturally occurring vitamin-like molecule that has a structure similar to vitamin K. As part of an enzyme, it acts as a catalyst in the vital biochemical pathway that leads to cellular energy production. Specifically, every cell must have a special substance known as ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which provides all the cell's energy. The energy obtained from the food we eat is used to make this fuel for the cells, and when a cell needs energy, it breaks the bonds that hold the ATP molecule together. However, the body, at any given time, only stores enough ATP to sustain vigorous activity for 5 - 8 minutes. Thus, ATP must be produced constantly, and for this ATP to be produced, there must be a ready supply of CoQ10. The Eades recommend 90 100 mg of CoQ10 a day.

These supplements aren't just for weight loss, they should be taken as part of your WOL for continued health.
