I love "creative cooking," and finally had my first experience on LC, thanks to someone here who mentioned sauteeing cabbage in butter. I'd just bought a cabbage the night before. Here's what I did:

Cut up and fried 2 slices of bacon. Added 1 T. butter and 2 cups thinly sliced cabbage. When the cabbage was almost cooked I added a dash of heavy cream and a dollop of sour cream and stirred, bubbling, until it thickened. Some coarse ground black pepper and yum!
