I too hate to get rid of nice, sometimes brand new clothes to a charity, but I found that I don't have the time or energy to sell them on ebay, or take to a consignment shop. Its just easier and quicker to donate and dump the clothes in the charity bin. Many of the clothes I have are YEARS old and very likely out of style. Also, I have retired and no longer wear the suits and jackets I did when working. My whole lifestyle is different. If I ever fall off this wagon and gain weight hopefully the tight clothes will give me the motivation to get it off! I am not going to give myself the fallback of a stash of big clothes. Having just cleaned out and having to get rid of several of packed closets in my mother's home, I am inspired to reduce all of my belongings down to what I really love and need. Dealing with her stuff is motivating me. I can't wait to be able to purchase new clothes when I lose this last 40 pounds!
