That is certainly a summer look, but do be careful in the sun. A friend of the Hubs who is bald on the regular just had a chunk of skin cancer taken out of his head.

I grow my hair in the summer for the same reason you cut yours. I don’t ’want it in my eyes. It stays in the ponytails and buns so much better when it’s longer. Guess no chance of you sporting a man bun for awhile, eh?
