My advice for you is to lay off the wine for as long as possible if you want to see more loss. It will slow it down and you don't have much to lose at all.

Save having wine for a dinner out or a special occassion. Try not to have it be a part of your everday food.

One trick that I did was to take a small amount of wine, when I did have some, and make it into a tall spritzer with ice and lemon or lime. It worked out well cause it gave me a little buzz, nobody thought I was being a party pooper and I minimized any damage that way.
