There are probably a lot of other irritating foods, too, mostly in the plant family. An elimination diet might be a good idea. If I suspected further food intolerance, I'd probably either go carnivore or stick as closely as I could to Dr Westman's M.E.A.L. concept: meats, eggs, added fats, and leaves (lettuce only if I was testing food intolerance, then try others.)

Could you share some sample menus that you've been having? Someone might be able to spot something.

Best of luck.

Several years ago I went gluten free for 3 months and it didn't make one bit of a difference. Recently, I went dairy free again. Absolutely no difference in how I felt. I do follow a good diet for GERD from the Dr.

Here is an example of what I've been eating.
I have to eat often so eat more than 3 times a day.

Breakfast: Adkin's Protein drink
coffee with cream/stevia

Lunch: 2 egg/sausage muffins (1 carb each)

Afternoon snack: 1 oz. of either walnuts or peanuts

Dinner: Baked chicken w egg wash/Parmesan cheese
Big green salad with some red pepper and Hidden Valley
ranch dressing. (2 carbs/2 oz.)

Snack: Carbmaster low carb yogurt (4 or 6 carbs)

Am I not eating enough?
