Hi and welcome.

I joined this forum 18 years ago, and BOY can I not get away with eating what I ate back then. "Loosely" is fine if your focus is getting away from the standard terrible Western diet, and if your goal is avoiding metabolic disease. It's probably not going to help you shed much extra fat, though, especially for us ladies. Sad but true. I've steadily gained through peri-menopause and it takes more effort just to avoid further gain.

I'd encourage you to start a journal, or at least give us an idea of what types of meals you're eating. It also might be a good idea to refresh your memory about the Atkins plan, and maybe go for strict induction rather than "loosely" Atkins. Here's the Induction Acceptable Foods List, if that's the plan you choose to follow.
