Thanks for the encouragement everybody. I'll use it as fuel for race day (plus a nice serving of fat & protein the day before the race).

Thanks for the tip. A lot of people use the track where I work out. I've seen people (mostly teens) doing that sprint/walk thing you described. I may work that in at some point. Speed is not my goal this time around. If I can jog the whole 10K I should be able to do it in 75 minutes or less. Under 70 minutes is my goal.
