I've seen the pre-boiled eggs at Loblaws/Superstore .. by Burnbrae (Ontario). These came in a pkg of 6, for around $2.99 per pkg (I didn't buy them, only examined the package in-store). I thought it was a great idea, not just for convenient lunches or snacks, but also in the hot, hot summer .. no need to heat up the kitchen to boil eggs .
Here's more info. from the Burnbrae website .. http://www.burnbraefarms.com/consum...boiled_eggs.htm
Three dozen boiled eggs, with a shelf-life of one month ... hmmmm, you'd want to have a big family or else plan to eat boiled eggs every single day!! I imagine the one-month shelf life is for the unopened package; I'm sure they'd only keep for a few days once opened. Three dozen *would* be perfect for making devilled eggs or egg salad for a crowd or a buffet table .
