Default Vit D3 and calcification in the arteries

My doctor was worried about me taking too much Vit

My doctor was worried about my taking high doses of Vit D3 because of possible calcification. Dr. Mercola says this only occurs when there is a deficiency of Vit K2. He suggests that if you take D, you should also take the K2.

I did read that the K2 is available in eggs and butter but it didtn't say how much was in these foods or how much you would need to counteract the effects of the D3. I do eat 3 eggs every morning and have switched from co to butter when I cook them, hoping this would help.

The last time I had my D levels tested, it was 85 but this past month (winter) it was again tested and was down to 59. I realize that this was due to less sun exposure, but I am still taking 10,000 IU of D3. I felt it was much better to have the level up at 85.

Does anyone know anything about this subject? I'd love to hear from you.
