Yes I definitely love to raw oysters and they are local.
Back in the day, I loved a ritz cracker with a dab of Mayo and then the little smoked oyster on top. I have searched every can in any store I go to and not one is from the US anymore. I was looking year ago and the only cannery left that I found in the US which is on the west coast but there is now concern over the Japanese nuclear disaster having reached the West Coast oysters. |
