I'm back to an elimination phase, leaving out seeds and nuts. So walnuts as an addition are out for the nonce.

I love fresh fruit in them, but until it's baking time again (we are not swelteringly hot, I working around the oven for a bit) and griddling does carmelize the fruit. Which is not a bad thing, necessarily. Which is why baking is definitely on the agenda.

But yesterday I was hungry and so experimenting was out. I had gotten a package of dehydrated mango. Which turned out well, but was labor intensive. I needed to chop the chunks, and they either explode under the knife or have the consistency of leather. Then I folded them into the sour cream for softening, adding some cream to help them along.

It worked out well, but all that detailed tedious chopping is not sustainable for me. However, this might work via blender. But there's no point to that, since fresh and frozen also work in blender.
