Prebiotics are non-digestible fibres that promote the growth of beneficial bacteria in the intestines. Inulin is one such prebiotic found in a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs, including wheat, onions, bananas, leeks, artichokes, asparagus and chicory.

The good news is that this particular article is not referring to wheat as a hearthealthywholegrain, or even a grain of any kind.
The bad news is that they're classifying it as a vegetable. Or maybe they mean that it's a fruit. Or perhaps a herb.
Whatever the case, it's obvious that every list of wonder-foods needs to include wheat, no matter what the quality being promoted might happen to be.
