So for those who've NOT been quietly stalking me and memorized my personal medical history (yes, that's a lame attempt at humor)

I was diagnosed with diabetes and fatty liver disease on Nov. 1, when I weighed in at 240. I had a random BG test of 202, my liver enzymes were WAY too high, and my lipids weren't what they should have been.

(In my defense, I'd been gluten-loading, to prepare for a Celiac's disease test.)

My doc saw the results, wanted to start me on meds... I asked for a chance to change my diet. (Already knew I needed to get back on LC. I'd only fallen off during The Year Of Five Funerals, and then... inertia happened.)

Got new labs that included A1C in December... Yup, diabetic (though not as "bad" as she'd expected). She agreed to let me try to diet my way out.

In March, she was deeply impressed with my weight loss AND with my new lab numbers, but one liver panel was still worrisome.

She gave me new labs to run in August. Well, I did, and I go the phone call: All my labs are 100% normal.

No meds. Just LC and IF.
