Default Cranberry Horseradish Sauce

I've just made this sauce for the Thanksgiving table, as I have done since first hearing about it, some 40 years ago. It was a "driveway moment" for me, quite literally. I had to wait in the driveway after driving home from work to get the full recipe. For anyone who likes horseradish, and doesn't appreciate an overly sweet cranberry sauce, this might be worth a try. My family loves it (well, maybe not my husband, but parents and brothers; perhaps it's genetic). I use a bit of honey instead of the sugar. I should think any sugar substitute of choice would work as well. With the tang of the cranberries, and the zing of the horseradish, even the sweeteners with a bit of aftertaste wouldn't be inappropriate. It's not a sweet sauce by any means; the sweetener just "takes the edge off", so to speak. Warning: it is quite violently pink. But, if you can get past that, and appreciate horseradish, this might be something to try.
