I'm not an active Neanderthinner and never truly was (I still like my dairy) but was close to a "fellow traveller" at times. I followed the alt.support.diet paleolithic usenet board back in the days when Ray himself participated pretty often, and was one of those who wrote favorable Amazon reviews of his original self-published "Neanderthin", Ray said those reviews helped him get his book contract for the new edition with a big publisher. I still have his original book kicking around somewhere.

I've haven't listened to the interview though. I confess I hate *listening* to or viewing interviews. I want to READ them - so I constantly stall and put off listening to things that might be of interest.
