Sara...you should be a writer, or maybe you are?? This was so awesome to read...you had me laughing. Even though I just started Atkins, I lost about 50 pounds nine years ago and kept it off...just never lost the other 45 or so. I can totally relate to some of the stuff you wrote. My family spends all their time commenting on whose fat or whose butt is bigger this year...but then when one of us goes on a diet...specifically low carb....they have negative comments about that, too. I've learned to just shake my head, look at them like they're crazy...and laugh. Someone is always going to have issues with Atkins or any other low carb lifestyle....to each his own I guess.
