Yep the recipe is extremely flexible. Add butter - more cream or cream cheese - or different milks. I don't do coconut milk because I cannot stand the taste but if that floats your boat, do it

The only thing I find is the METHOD of using the blender to whizz the ingredients with the hot liquid really makes it the "right" creamy consistency.

Could also add some flax meal or psyllium husk to help thicken it MORE if you like it "stand the spoon up in it" thick

I was surprised at the yummy taste. The sf maple syrup really does it for me with the walnuts yummmmmmmm
