I couldn't agree more. This is exactly the point of my initial post in this thread.

Carb addiction, sugar addictrion, ose addiction, or any particular substance addiction I can deal with, but when you say "Food Addiction" the term is meaningless, because all animals are addicted to food. Without it we will have withdrawal symptoms and then die.

I am hopelessly addicted to food, air, and water, and I'm not giving these up.

Let's stop calling it food addiction because it's just plain wrong.
