Default net carb computation - subtracting erythritol?

had a protein (lol) bar box with net carb listed as 4g on the box. each bar though has on it's label:

19 - 13 = 6 net carbs
19 - 13 = 6 net carbs
19 - 12 = 7 net carbs

^ first number is total carbs, next is fiber. asked their web site contact form and they said:

If you factor in the sugar alcohol (all-natural erythritol) content, our net carbs work out to 4g on all bars. As erythritol has next-to-no blood sugar impact, those carbs are not considered "net".

hmmm.
