At the time, I was eating eggs every day so I didn't bother with the selenium. Not only did my hair stop falling out, but I had more energy and my arthritic fingers began to feel better. Hmm. Maybe there was something to all this alternative medicine after all. Gradually, I began to treat other long-standing issues and deficiencies in my body.

I'm so glad you posted about iodine, it's because of you I started taking it!
What amazed me was how it's been used for centuries and I guess like other nutritional supplements was knicked out of the market by the drug companies.

When I started I had chest congestion that I just couldn't cough out and the over the counter meds are all changed now since drug users began abusing them so the expectorant I had bought didn't work at all and in fact was making my lungs feel like a burning sensation.... Well, as soon as I started the Iodine I couldn't believe how fast it cleared up my lungs, it was truly miraculous!. The iodine book said that in France they have used Iodine for ever for breathing treatment in patients with lung illness, like phenomena...
