After 3 days of no running due to work, I finally got something in last Sunday afternoon at the school complex. I wasn't feeling up to a long jog, so I decided to make it a HIIT day. I could push myself in short bursts.

Of the 7.67 miles I did over the 2 hours, approximately 3 miles were running. I ran up the hills with pace, walking down the hills. I ran the rough terrain of the cross-country trail through the woods. I finished up at the track -- sprinting the straight stretch and walking the corners. 7 sprints in all.

I may not have been into a workout when I started; I did feel good afterwards, though.
