Hi Adnil,

Welcome back! I read your recent journal posts about your health challlenges.

Since you were last active in a Low Carb community, there is now a very large, very respected Low Carb website called DietDoctor. I recommend it for the impact of LC on any Health Condition. Here is their latest guide on Protein and Kidney Health. Their evidence-based guides are written by medical doctors There are many other posts in addition to this general guide.

I have read that Protein is not a problem from other medical doctors, https://youtu.be/y8r3EL1Ylcg and nutritionists http://www.tuitnutrition.com/2018/0...dneys.html#more
In fact DietDoctor and Dr Ted Naiman are proponents of Higher Protein Low Carb diets. It is what I did 18 months ago to reach goal weight. After using Keto for a decade and not reaching goal weight, I lowered fat, while increasing protein and fiber and nutrition. https://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=484995

I do not have kidney disease, but understand your caution. However, if you look around the LC world now, most doctors will now debunk any need to limit protein. What is recommended for bone health is more protein, though getting more calcium from food, not supplements!, helps too.
