Cool to see this thread pop up. When asked how long I've been sober, I look at my right wrist that is watchless (I don't wear a watch on either wrist except when on the water - and then the right wrist - wrong I know!) and say...

"What time is it?"

That's how long it's been without drink or drug.

So grateful to be free of their crippling crush.
