I grew roses organically couple of decades ago, even though that "can't be done." But it can. Feed the whole plant, not just the blooms. Grow companion plants and ground covers. Create places of water and shelter to draw in predators to eat the bugs I didn't want.

It's hardly a bad way for the whole planet to be thinking.
