In my kitchen, you'll find unsweetened almond milk, cheeses, multiple kinds of meats, frozen non-starchy veggies, almonds, sugar free drink mixes, diet sodas, an overflowing spice rack, and a bunch of condiments (mayo, sour cream, butter, oils, creamy dressings...). I keep a few Atkins bars around for "emergencies," but that's about the junkiest food I have. Makes it MUCH easier to not self-sabotage when there are no temptations sitting around. If I need (or want!) a snack, I usually just grab some cheese, pepperoni, or almonds.

I do have a 5 year old and a vegan boyfriend so this stuff is always around. I mean, technically on my primal plan its allowed, I'm just mad at myself for messing up my ketosis that I needed set up for a specific purpose. I think it was triggered by eating pine nuts with dinner. Nuts really spike my insulin and make me crave like crazy. No more nuts for me!
