Slimming World is one of those commercial diets where you go to a weekly group meeting. It only exists in the UK. Basically you do original (or red) days which are based on protein and green days which are based on carbohydrate.

It is also low GI and generally low fat. It is very similar to montignac and also the hay system. Many people do alternate days. I tend to do mostly red days (after many years on Atkins I've gotten used to lots of meat!) and an occasional green day so my body doesn't get too used to it.

I've also done montignac in the past and found I enjoyed it and lost weight on it. I enjoyed eating fruit - even if it was on an empty stomach.

I am trying to lose weight and be fitter too.
