Hi Red ,I joined curves and love it. Because it is done by resistance you can either work it slow or work it hard.Depends on your fitness level. There are ladies who attend where I am who have been doing it for a few years now and they say the workout is good and they are fit. They can combine it with more cardio if they want but most have said they dont. The whole circuit really gives you a bit of both.Light cardio though.I still use my treadmill every day to. The machines are set up to work all the major muscle areas. I really like it alot and it is something that because I can work it hard or slow and there is so many different types of machine that I dont get bored. And the idea is to workout in 30 minutes. It is sooooo much fun because there is the music. They play incredible music. And if you buy the curves book which I recommend then it shows all the excersises in it for when your travelling. You use a stretch band.I have done them & they work good to. But just being around other women who have the same fitness goals is great.
Thats just my opinion though. Just want to add that they never high pressure you. That is one thing I appreciated to .Cant stand when they sound like a used car salesperson.LOL.
Glad to see your doing good.
