I'm sure if Dr. Atkins were alive and there was a Q&A session... he'd give an answer along the lines that the nutritional approach can be modified in a way to suit an individual... not all of us are built the same... so as you progress, you'll learn more and more till the "PRINCIPLE" of Atkins becomes second nature and gets molded into your way of thinking
