Default Chicken Soup to cure your cold

Chicken Soup to cure your cold
This is not your average chicken soup, but it will clean your sinuses. Very spicy. This is my mom's recipe.

6 cans of low sodium chicken broth (can use regular but it will be salty)
1-2 pounds dark meat chicken WITH SKIN ON ( I used leg quarters)
2 chicken breasts
1 cup celery
one can rotel tomatoes original style (use the rotel brand because this is Hot)
1 whole jalepeno (from can or jar not fresh)

Add raw dark meat chicken, 4 cans of broth and 1 can of water and 1 whole jalepeno (or 2 tbs of sliced) to a large pan. Boil until chicken is cooked and falling off of the bones. When chicken is done, remove from pan and remove skin and bones, put shredded chicken back in pan. Add raw chicken breast, 2 cans of broth, and Rotel tomatoes. Continue boiling until chicken breasts are cooked.

Makes a large pot of soup. Its very spicy but the spice kind of sneaks up on you. Its very good though and clears your sinuses. It will warm you up all over.
