Rosa Alta, I don't blame you or others for having initial transitional wonderings about switching your WOE to anything different than the dominant paradigm, since many of us grew up most of or all of our lives being brainwashed into thinking eating high sugar, low fat was right, even though they didn't do comprehensive studies to ever prove it. Politics, bribes, extended shelf life and cheap manufacturing processes seemed to crown in the low fat kingdom more than peer-reviewed medical studies (shrugs).

However, enough people have experienced improved stats (healthier numbers in their cholesterol, B/P, eliminating their diabetes, cholesterol, etc. medications) when they switched from high carb high sugar junk to controlled carb, moderate fat eating to warrant it being an option for those who benefit from it, imo. Good luck with your upcoming med. check up!
