Hi, again!

Hi! I’m not new to low carb, and I’m not new to the forum, but I am in need of a fresh start. I’ve lost as much as ~50-55lbs over the years, but have not managed to keep it off.

At this point I need to lose 100 lbs to be at a healthy weight, which feels overwhelming. But I need to start somewhere so here I am! Back to basics with Atkins Induction, today is day 7.

If there’s anyone out there who could use an accountability buddy, hit me up!

Hi Murrie and welcome back. I'm rejoining after 8 or 9 years away from the forum! I have been eating low carb most of that time but have recently got sloppy, so I'm having to relearn carb counts and everything! You are going to have to be strict with me as I am on an emotional eating roller coaster at the moment ;)

It surely does. But you've already done the hardest part: Starting.

I do exercise videos. At the beginning of the warm-up, the video instructor says, "The secret to success? Getting started." I've heard her say this a million times--I mean, it's a video!! But it always makes me feel doggone virtuous. Every. Single. Time.

Best wishes.

Thanks for the encouragement and I love thinking about just getting started being a huge part of succeeding. I knew I’d feel better if I could just get started...lo and behold, I do!
