2019 Low-carb Christmas Party (virtual)
Lets have a party this year to celebrate the end of 2019.
It's a low-carb potluck so what will you bring? Meme#1 I will cook a prime rib roast, enough for everyone! |
Anybody want to play?
|
Oh god that looks delicious.
So, what do we do? Post photos of low carb delicacies we wish to eat? I want to play. If I can figure out how to post a photo. We post it via a link, is that correct? It's been a few years since I posted a photo here. |

If you want a pic you can do cut and paste from the web and put this in each side. But you don't need a pic only if you want to... Find an image on web, right click on "copy image location" then paste it here into your post with the below example. |
ROASTED BRUSSEL SPROUTS in evoo and sprinkled with sea salt !!
maybe post link to recipes when possible...??? |
Glazed ham with cloves :yum:
|
Well, Arielle beat me to Brussels sprouts, so I’ll bring Sugar Free chocolate mousse. With copious quantities of whipped cream. (And a little bourbon.)
Fun idea, Meme! (Wish I knew how to upload a photo!) |
Ditto on the ham....yum!
But Jess beat me to it, so I'll bring bacon wrapped chicken. |

oh so yuuuuummmy !!!!! |
How about a cheese cake
|
Now THAT is a cheese cake!
|
Cream cheese and almond flour chocolate cookies.
I've found that halving the sweetener in these recipes works even better. |
I'll bring Green Bean Bundles. Wrapped in bacon, and baked in a mixture of butter, garlic powder, Worcestershire Sauce, and Truvia, (or your favorite sf sweetener).
|
I will also bring, as a snack, "Puppy Chow." Pork rinds coated in natural peanut butter and cocoa powder, dusted with granulated erythritol. These things are ADDICTIVE! They have butter and coconut oil in them to 'harden' them up, and they are crunchy and delicious and savory at the same time. If you want/need something sweet to kick that craving in the butt, this is it! It's like chocolate candy. Puppy Chow pork rinds make an amazing sweet snack. You put them into the fridge to harden them up and then snack away. Totally low carb and keto.
