Gentleman's Relish

This is a spiced anchovy butter whose original recipe, concocted in the Victorian era (1838) remains a closely-held secret to this day. One eats it like Marmite, scraped thin on toast, or it can be melted into scrambled eggs, or on top of a steak, or mixed in ground meat...

I have not yet tried this recipe. I've never before come across mention of this condiment, but it fits into the LC lifestyle, so I've posted it here. In the event anyone is adventurous enough to try it, please let us know the results.
