Cranberry wing sauce
½ cup frozen cranberries around 4.4 net carbs
1 tbsp lemon juice 1 carb ½ cup water 2-3 splenda packets ** 2-3 carbs aprox. 8.4 net carbs per bach Add all ingredients into a small pot, simmer at medium for around 10 mins. When cranberries start to split remove from heat. Add to small food processor and puree until smooth. When I make this I cook the wings completely with just oil and spices and let them cool for a few mins, then using a silicone brush I add the cranberry sauce to the wings and put them back in the oven for 10 mins. Eat them dipped in mayo and its like thanksgiving :) **You may need less splenda I like my cranberry sauce really sweet, make sure you taste after adding each packet. |
